I thought I liked Tyranny but replaying this mess of an expansion I'm second guessing the fond memories I have for the whole game.

>>3940968They don't lean into the most appealing, back-of-the-box aspect enough: locking horns with the Archons and parsing Kyros's laws, the game needed a reference page with a bunch of laws written out like a legal bestiary and tons more scenes where you adjudicate based on your read of the laws. Bleden Mark or Tunon should've been deeply involved with Bastard's Wound too, they don't get enough play in the base game and the Archons are all load bearing performances.

>>3939989I loved Tyranny but it's sad how rushed it is towards the end. It has some of the best magic gameplay I've played and I find the world and the way it was presented really engaging. Sadly, it's stuck forever with Paradox and we will never get an enhanced edition or a sequel.
