>>3943325Its not a technical difficulty, its more a difficulty of beginning the translation. With a new project, you are starting from zero. But a DLC allows you to cross reference existing material. Translations aren't just a linear "translate this word, then that word..." process. There's a lot of proof reading, cross referencing, etc. And you have to decide on conventions as you go. with DLC 3, most of those conventions were already in place.

Sussing out all the references might be a bit harder I suppose. But the size of the game won't necessarily be too much of an issue. DLC3 is one of the most text dense portions of the entire series for a variety of reasons and I doubt DRH will match that on average even if it's a particularly large game overall. Depending on how how combat is actually handled it might be missing the need to translate combat interactions and attack names and such, too. As far as we know the big holdup for DRH was Toro needing to draw a lot but that doesn't necessarily translate to a lot of text.
