The first game was kinda charming in its jankiness, like the story and lines were trash, but the delivery and shitty graphics made me laugh and the game was obviously focused on giving you a bunch of setpiece D&D fightsNow the graphics are "better", but generic UE crap and they seem to focus a lot more on the story with big name voice actors in the trailer, not sure how to feel about it

It just feels worse in 2 because they have them emote a lot more instead of just blandy talking at eachother, which only enhances the uncanny effect of their bland blob faces, especially for the player characters.It seems like like everyone on the Steam forums is seething their tiny little mind out over how they can't create perfectly handome heroes, but if TA had half a brain they'd just stop listening to those retards and focus on making good combat instead of trying to please people who cannot be pleased. Listening to a bunch of fake gamer culture warriors shitting their pants because the characters aren't fuckable enough is the absolute worst choice to make here. The more they try to make their characters "realistic" the harder they fail, so why bother trying if you don't have the skill or the budget to do it right anyway?Solasta will never be BG3 and that's okay, but I really wish they would stop trying to be BG3 and start focusing on their strengths instead of their weaknesses.
