I think they were just testing the waters to see reception and hoping to earn some money in the interim while they work on new projects or DLCs. Content takes longer today to produce, more code, more things to juggle, so they need more time.

I didn't try it yet but I will once it hits 50% off or more. Warlock looks chill to play, and is something different. I like all the classes to be honest, and Diablo II is still my favorite. I never tried Diablo IV more than 10 minutes and probably never will, it just seems like it was lacking something. If somebody gifted it to me then sure I would play through ONCE to see the campaign, but outside of that I have no interest.

way too much for just a class and some QOL improvements. will wait for sale. also pissed that I got it on shitty blizz platform and then they release it on steam later
