I heard Disgaea 7 was a big course correction for the series compared to 6. I recently bought a Switch 2 so I was thinking about picking up the complete edition, any anons that played D7 able to chime in?

I played the demo. I don't know what you mean by "course correction". If you've played 1 Disgaea you've played them all. They only differ by some gimmick that was probably prototyped and tested in another game. I think I saw them do the Giant enemy encounters first in Guided Fate Paradox

People generally liked the characters, music, etc like usual.There were also individual personal complaints about the choice of generics, stat numbers starting higher, etc that turned off some people.
