Blight has pretty crazy class customization and gameplay for an intro game, Awake is basically a visual novel with a hundred scenes and fun cast with decent bond progressions/interactions, Colony is where he starts to get into his pocket for the story, Asylum is for getting his freak on and trying to make a dark souls rpgm, Kludge has Olivia. I think the series as a whole so far hasn't touched the highs of the stretch from Colony's start to credits roll, but the second half definitely started to show cracks, luckily it's fairly far towards the end imo after the alzhett throne room exposition.

Man, the postgame in ghost path 2 is massive and it could have done with some pointers since there's something almost everywhere.

Ridiculousness is a texture that adds to the appeal, much the same way anime characters don't talk like real people either, but they're able to invoke strong emotions that you don't get to feel in day-to-day life. I quite enjoyed the voice work in the gacha collab for this reason. SEQUEL heroines are fantastical and aren't bound by the social standards of normies, so it wasn't off-putting to hear them speak, and if anything you get the sense that this is proof of their status as superior women. I especially liked Nazuna's low samurai woman voice. I always pictured her as having a high pitched moe voice before that, like the foxgirl from Blue Archive that says Aruji-dono, which also made her seem a little bit like an autistic LARPer that everyone's going along with, because Tsuzuri doesn't talk like that, but that recontextualized the character for me in a much more authentic way, and I wondered why I didn't see something so obvious.As another example, I was jerkin it to this H-ASMR last night where the protagonist and his wife divorced due to an NTS gone wrong situation, but she came back to visit him and convince him to trick his sister to go over to them in exchange for a report on what happens to her, and the wife's voice was just so insanely sugary-sweet and hypersexual, while also dripping with cynicism and contempt for her ex-husband, the whole time I was like god damn this bitch is fucking crazy. The voice actress did a phenomenal job bringing such a simple character to life and the dialogue wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable if it were read as part of a web novel or voiceless h-game. The seiyuu scene in Japan is so developed that even the ones doing porn to get work tend to be quite talented too, and some mainstream seiyuu even start their careers voicing eroge, or in more recent times, H-ASMR.
