made me to replay Ultima Underworld 2 instead because i only ever beat that with a walkthrough. to be exact, i was uploading a cluebook for UW2 and digging up old files and found that i already deleted my old UW2 files, so i had to download the newest dosboxed version on GOG.... it was crap. not just their Dosbox config being crap as usual. the latest Dosbox "Staging" seems to be filled up with CRT filters bloat. even when the filters are turned off, it still seems to memory leak and lag the game within minutes of playing it. what a shitshow. i had to extract the old files from the ISO(they renamed it to some gog.games file, but i could still mount it as an ISO), then run it in olde DosBox 0.73. ran so much better.

going for a magic-less run and see if i will screw up. will still abuse the magical debris bug, since it's basically free potions. and i still play like a munchkin after all this time. start off as a Sheperd class with Mace, Search and Lore skill. had to reroll many times to get 20+ STR, but my DEX and INT was like 16 or 15 only.
