I'm not one of the autists who screeches about originals being the only valid games, but in regards to this game, the original is better. The remake adds all sorts of annoying and pointless shit in there, and also messes with the endings to make them toothless.

Both versions have their merits, it depends on what you want. The original is a little more challenging and the story doesn't have the obvious "this is our special edition OC character" nonsense.

However Redux does have new endings, extra dungeons, and overall more shit to do. Pick what you like.

It's upsetting because one of the greatest artists use ai when they already know how to make great art without it, long before ai existed. And the art they do now has way too much repetitious patterns all too common in ai and all the creativity is gone. I hope this is either at the request of the client, or this is a phase that he will drop.
