>Mogs your favorite RPG
>>3966358why are all jrpgs set in medieval europe with gothic architecture
>>3966358Is it out again for Snoy 4? Says announced for over a year now.
ND is hardly an RPG, it's more of a puzzle game with an interesting initiative system despite having a truckload of horrid design decisions. The OST is phenomenal though.
>>3966415>OST Out of this world. How come? That's like top movie music.
>>3966421They got fucking Noriyuki Asakura and told him to go balls to the walls, it was going to be absolute kino regardless. Also they legit had him write a 10/10 cover of "The Court Of The Crimson King" as the staff roll music, so you know the director has patrician taste in music.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFOMDHI5cw4
>>3966433To the windows... >to the walls
>>3966433This might be best ost of a janky game. How come no name team no 8 gets noriyuki asakura?>linkIt's perfect
>>3966358I found it far too tedious. It really needed to allow free movement/positioning when no enemies were active. Waiting for a unit that can move a whole two spaces a turn to make their way to the next door got old really fast.
>>3966536That might be a dealbreaker. I already dislike it in Jeanne or tactics ogre. You need 15% of the time for the last two clowns fleeing the battle scene. Ai should give up when it's 1 bowman vs 8 melee units.
Great game, I enjoyed it a lot.I agree it's a bit clunky when you're trying to line up your units before you open a door, but that doesn't happen enough to bother meLast time I didn't use any pluton and I didn't use any of those random rings you find in some story battles. No idea how I should handicap myself in future playthroughs to avoid repeating the same strategies.
>Uses a stupid term like "mogs"Straight to The Gulag for you, tovarisch.
>>3967156get mogged unc
>>3966358literally who?
>>3966358I ended up liking this game a lot. I remember it got savaged by reviews because it was kind of ugly, which is fair, but also because it was hard as fuck, which is less fair. I defiantly was shocked as hell when that one girl got violently murdered by insects.
>>3967131>That stage where you're standing in a pluton river and free to cast as many spells as you want.I actually kind of like the idea of MP on the whole being a limited non renewable resource. It wasn't quite the massive road block you'd have to worry about gameplay wise but it's an interesting narrative idea.

>>3975648Yeah, I know about the new game plus ending. I think I like the original more. It's kind of cool how while the game is game over upon anyone's death it changes in the last stages so there's also alternate endings depending if anyone dies.
I wasn't paying attention very well and missed a weapon early on in the ogre camp that would have made the game a lot easier later on. I suspect many people did too. Here's a protip, make Geoff a gunner.
>>3976703You can freely re-assign your skill points and it's best to change your skillset to suit the current mission. E.g. sometimes the greatsword guy does a lot of melee combat, sometimes he won't be doing any fighting and you will put his points into potions and buffs to start link attacks. For Geoff the choice is mainly between using the small guns or the big guns. Big guns do huge damage, especially if you picked up an agility-boosting ring and maybe a dex-boosting ring, but you might have a 100% reliable clear with small guns because they're more accurate. Small guns also switch targets if your initial target is dead and you'll have more skill points available to assign to other skills. The match changes as you level up and hit new breakpoints so change your skillsets often.
