>copied an entire baldurs gate 3 build off TikTok>I even look up which dialogue options to choose so I can get a particular ending
>>3978464Your taking a lot of the Joy and purpose out of it by meta-gaming the dialogue pathways and build. You will have more fun if you let go of the outcome and wing all the choices and build and never savescum anything ever...BG3 is the greatest game of all timeI strongly suggest not letting your schizo-autism-control-freak nature ruin the experience. That is my opinion.
>>3978469>BG3 is the greatest game of all time6/10 and only if you have a high woke tolerance, 2/10 if you don't
>>3978464Some seem to enjoy following instructions laid out by others
>>3978479I use it as dungeon crawler and skip the dialogue. Have also extra monsters for plenty of the encounters. Modded the beholder box, bc I suck at coding. Now it's fun.
>>3978479quick, name a good game
>>3978565I like salt and sanctuary. Looking forward for sns3
>>3978521Quite disappointing design in 5e and BG3.>beholder>originally an OP monster for high level parties>BG3: level 4 enemy that can be killed by a level 4 party with little difficulty even on honour mode
>>3978464Thanks for the snapchat image, fellow 4channeler!
>>3978464Extremely high-quality image and post, thanks
>>3978677It's not a beholder, you faglord
>>3978677It's a spectator and he's level 5.>enemy selectionNot really larian fault. Even in the ttrpg dragons get slaughtered by level 7 or so. One should think that only few, if any, can beat a dragon.>ganeYou can use the urn and change the enemies via the editor to make fights much more interesting or give enemies more hp, action aso. O have magic gear that gives you a malus for 2 boni. Suddenly the game is interesting. Oh, and I play with attunement. Bg3 showers you with artifacts.
>>3978464mindless NPC right there
I was like you too, OP!I used to be afraid of "ruining" my first experience with games by playing it "wrong" and then later discovering there was an ending/playstyle that I would have liked way more. BG3 was very bad for this since so much content (narrative and gameplay) was patched in for years post launch, I got an ending I was happy with but I wished I'd waited to play and got a different one. What fixed me was realising that all the imaginary replays of these games I thought of in my head never happened. I don't tend to replay these games, I doubt you do either. You just want that one very long and very high quality playthrough of something you like-and your want for it to be perfect will often lead you to either basically copy someone else's perfect run or just endlessly restart over and over and over again.Just realise that gams come out all thet time and you will ALWAYS remember the kinda fucked up but fun 1st time playthrough you did. Fucking up in BG3 doesn't always lead to negative outcomes in the long run, I'd say literally like 70% of the time it either just creates combat encounters or mixes things up. It's quite hard to lock yourself out of content or really fuck yourself in BG3 unless you set out to do so.
>>3979201>so much content (narrative and gameplay) was patched in for years post launchName three.
>>3978741>change the enemies via the editor Why should I have to change the game myself? That's the dev's job.
>>3979290To have more fun
No one is asking the important question: who is taking the OP picrel?
>>3978464>posts stupidity>posts half-naked womanGreat job anon, now I'm rolling my eyes AND I have a boner
