Its a turn based strategy that's focused on weapon and personal skills while it also has an ironman mode so loses and comebacks are a huge aspect of the game and managing your supplies and location on the map is a big part of the game. Its got enough of a similar gameplay loop and stakes while being something different enough to get lost in learning something new. Its style is kind of off putting at first, but you get used to it.
