You're actually administrating a nation with real people in it, an economy, and so on. If you had -3 stability, in the span of a single day you could just use enough paper power to bring it up and fix your nation's stability. People still argue whether CK3 has surpassed CK2, or if vic3 is even as good as vic2, but I don't think this will be the case for eu5 and eu4. Beyond popular eu4 mods that are yet to be ported into eu5, and people who literally just care to blob, I think eu5 will be a true successor to eu5 that people unanimously agree is a better simulator

I really liked the idea of no mission trees in eu5 but the more I think about it, the less I like it. Vic2 had no missions and events/decisions were pushing you to do certain stuff but the game's span is only 100 years and most of the major nations are already formed.
