I'm sick and tired of those hinged commie contraptions! Luckily, there's a game just for anons like me. So let's talk tactics, mods and missions.
I'll start: everyone carries a slap-charge and 2 bangs a room minimum

Vanilla: All assaulters carry small flash, small frag and a flash backpack unless we need something else specifically. All other classes get a small frag and small smoke and the backpack is whatever we need or nothing dependingon weight.

Best mod is still Ares. Mostly enjoy tackling any size mission with just the 6 Delta guys and their enablers.

If you're taking good angles and corners so you aren't having a shootout with 5 guys at once, supports are feel basically useless when assualts and marksmen can kill things much faster.
I have found one niche use for them though. Curtains.
Normally you either have to clear them manually (slow, potentially dangerous) or chuck a grenade at them (wasteful) but supressive fire will clear the curtains and quickly supress everyone inside for an assaulter or two to clean up. Also the fire is inaccurate enough that you can do it even with hostages and civilians in the room (at least I haven't had a problem with it yet).

Supports are good for specific mid range to close range set ups, since they can destroy wooden doors from a distance with suppress without wasting non-renewable resources.
The suppression is great for getting enemies in cover to duck long enough to be hit with a frag or rocket.
they are situational of course: Assaults are better for actually handling the up close stuff and there's a range where marksmen will hit more with their worst rifle than a support will hit with the best MG.
