Or i'm just not smart enough to figure it out. Seems no logical solution.
Constrains: I'm not using guessing, x has to be because y.

you can pretty easily craft an unsolvable sudoku
>>
There are some advanced techniques you need to use to crack them. I don't like Sudoku anymore, too much stuff to pay attention to.
Now Renzoku, on the other hand, is a puzzle I don't get tired of.

Huh that's a neat one

I liked that I could pick it up blind, apply simple techniques used in similar puzzles, and organically develop solving strategies as I tackled harder ones. I have Simon Tatham's Puzzles on my phone which includes this puzzle, and I like to solve a 5x5 diagram every so often.

I hope you solved it by now. I'm not very good but it took 30 minutes for me to complete this one inbetween having dinner. You're just missing a few steps in your logic, for example on the far left column - only 6/7 can go in those two top left squares, so you can eliminate 7 from one of your 1/2/7 triples down below. When you're stuck, the best thing to do is go through the numbers on all boxes sequentially, like "Can I solve any 1s? How about 2s?" And so on.
This doesn't apply to this particular puzzle, but Sudoku can get a lot deeper than "X must be Y because Y can't go anywhere else"

This is probably the best solver around, it walks you through all the advanced stuff.
>>
>Are some sudokus unsolvable ?
put two 1's in the top left box
now commit sudoku because your sudoku is now unsolvable

Sudoku is just an incomplete waveform collapse with a shitty interface that generally doesn't facilitate the ruling-out approach nor the exploration of branching possible boards. Some online interfaces allow the first in a half-assed way but never branching boards because that would reveal how trivial and pointless sudoku is as a whole. But I guess it's good enough for midwits who think solving sudokus by hand is intellectually stimulating and not mind numbingly tedious.

You mean filling in all the candidates? Sure it is. But it's usually not necessary, with more experience you'll learn where to look next without needing to exhaustively check every cell.
I don't know if you're doing this on the website or drawing it on Paint but do find a place where you're comfortable playing, there's all kinds of websites with cool features to help you rationalize things that let you input in custom sudoku from elsewhere, and of course pen and paper will never fail you either.
