Has the Zen Edition meta been figured out yet? I still have PTSD from all my ranged deathball strats being nerfed, haven't played the game since I barely finished the Serpent campaign on hard.
>finished the Serpent campaign on hardhow the fuck did you finish Serpentholm 2

You immediately abandon your starting base (it will distract the Wolf for a few minutes), have your peasants gather resources to the south (the abandoned rice/water just before the south eastern Dragon base) and use your heroes and starting units to destroy the relatively undefended south eastern Dragon base. Then you make a base where they were / before the river leading to Dragon's main base in the south west, where Otomo is. You can send some fast troops to distract the Wolf further in the north east to buy you some time to defend, before you have to defend against one or two big attacks from Wolf and Dragon. When Shinja and the Necromancer arrives, bring them to your base safely and you can make an army to attack Otomo's base right across the river from you, once he's out it's only a matter of time before you grind the Wolf bases in the north to death, they don't do much on their own unlike the later Wolf-specific missions.
Dragon is the strongest and Wolf is the weakest now.
Game is too hard to get a proper multiplayer following outside of Russia and South East AsiaThere are like 3 players who know how to play the game good
My unit tier list for Zen Edition. Almost every ranged unit lost one entire rank from my original ranking, the ones who didn't already sucked in the original.
