ASL 21 will be taken by a Zerg Chad, indubitably. The only question is, which one? Will Soulkey return for a fifth one? Will Soma get a second one? Will Zero display his old man strength by taking a third one, well past his prime? Will Larva? Will Effort? >>2349688Is it too late for a fellow millennial like me to play Starcraft and gitting gud or no? NGM? Never played
First ASL qualifier (weird meme format that even Artosis is confused about): four brackets, three Zerg Chads, one Tosser, NO Terrannies!https://youtu.be/YV4j11-6p8I?t=10414
>>2351809>that thumbnailA fine addition to my artjak collection
>>2349905Sc is very hard (perhaps the hardest game there is), and has been out for a long time so some millennials are really really good. If you want to be competitive there’s a bunch of solid amateurs you can follow and quickly get to A tier with rigorous training but is not a chill experience, it feels like work, and you will lose a LOT. The bombastic star league is a good set of amateur players to watch. Many of them stream. Some old masters have content on the basics. I love watching sc but playing competitive was always too much of a grind for me so I mostly played use map settings or vs cpu games. I watched a ton of pro sc (and sc2 before that was a dead game)- artosis and tasteless are the 2 biggest English commentators. The Koreans are still the best at sc.
are all zerg players this gay lol? all this guy posts about are muscular men and trannies
>>2349905No.The whole point of the ranked system is you lose until you get to the bracket where you fight guys of similar skill level.
>>2349905I started playing 2-3 years ago myself and I'm B rank zerg now. There's a lot of noobs on ladder and you can join CPL to find people around your level to play, plus there's more information and guides out there than ever. Actually getting *good* (A, S+ level) takes a lot of effort (unless you play brotoss) however
>>2352459>quickly get to A tierA is no joke. I don't know anyone that got there quickly.
>>2352707zergschizo is genuninely schizophrenic and so shit at broodwar he can't win with op zerg and cries for buffs when they're already the strongest race.>inb4 "terrany" player>inb4 "tosser" player
What are we watching tonight?
spoilershttps://youtu.be/YV4j11-6p8I?si=2YuxDt8J25LYHPTs&t=7333That rage gg, I love it
>>2349905I played the campaign as a kid, and picked it up again few months ago. Did some games against AI, then straight to korean ladder. Had about 1 - 10 real winrate (about one third of matches the other side instaquits after game starts, not quite sure why) doing 4-pools or hydra busts. The most memorable game was probably this protoss which tried some kind of quick reaver+shuttle build against me. His shuttle got destroyed when it flew over my rallied hydras and he ragequit over that. I think it's the best not to try to be hardcore about it, but instead just have some casual fun. We are getting too old for this shit..Thank you for reading my blog.
>>2352707>>2353405Are all Terrannies this bad? All they do it lose.
>>2353405Zerg is the worst race by far. If Terrannies and Tossers played against Zerg Chads with, say, swapped spells, they would never win ONE game.
Are Flash, Snow, and Jaedong the goats of each race?
>>2354408Top 10 Zerg Chads:1 and 2: Savior and Soulkey (it could go either way)3: July4: Jaedong 5 and 6: Effort and Zero (it could go either way)7: Larva8: Soma (will go to 7th if he wins again this ASL)9: Calm10: HydraThank you for your attention to this matter.
>>2354408Flash for terran without question.Jaedong for zerg for sure, Soulkey only became the champion because Flash wasn't playing.Snow is pretty mediocre overall, he has the best reaver/shuttle micro in the world but never managed to win any tournaments. Bisu on the other hand revolutionized the protoss game approach and pretty much invented corsair micro builds. So even though he fell off pretty hard in the past few years, he's still the protoss goat
>>2354563>Soulkey only became the champion because Flash wasn't playing. As the OP shows, Flash was eliminated by three Zerg Chads (neither of which is as good as Soulkey) in his last three ASL runs, and was so mind-broken that he retired. Moreover, Soulkey destroyed Light, "the best TvZ player in the world", and the other Terrannies in his four championship runs. Also, Jaedong wasn't even that good in the KeSPA era, and is only hyped up because he LOST to Flash (he only won one Starleague against him, the power outage incident) by gay redditors and teamliquidshitters, exactly in the vein of McCain or Romney. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
>>2354643Sorry, I'm not interested in nigger takes. Go back to africa or india or whatever smelly shithole you came from and take your shit opinion there.
>>2354655Flash LOST. Terrannies LOST. Zerg Chads won. There are the facts.
>>2354563I would like to nominate Rain to share the Protoss throne with Bisu, because even though he didn't innovate, when he actually bothered taking Brood War seriously (and not fucking off to play DoTA or Fortnite) he would magically win fights he shouldn't had won for no clear reason. Most notably in mirror matches where he would enter a build order loss and win with no cheese or gimmicks, just sheer solid mechanics.
Why is PVP the most boring mirror?
>>2354658The only fact here is that your skin is the color of shit.
>>2354943Are you ok Terranny?
Why do broodwar pros keep getting involved in crypto scams? I thought koreans were supposed to be smart
>>2355046flash is smart for running his own scam while soulkek has fallen for about 5 scams lol?
>constantly hear that light is "the best tvz player">actually check the runs >eliminated by zerg chads THREE times >eliminated by terranny sisters twice and by tossers twice (ONE elimination away from the zerg chad vs. terranny and tosser eliminations being equal)>only won one asl wherein he defeated one zerg b teamer (action)>"the best tvz player">terrannies are LITERALLY treated like trannies, i.e. people constantly hyping them up and lying to them that they are real women
BIG STORMGATE HYPE!!!
Why does terran have the highest win % at high levels?
It doesn't
>2355134>terrans break their hands every game to beat everyone>meanwhile zerg maeks a-move hydras to win, camps lurkers on ramps to make them unpushable, puts overlords on free scouting towers that every maps has, and maybe micros a muta out of the control group to avoid radiation while sniping workers for free thanks to zerg-biased map design>oh but zerg is actually weak and hard to play guys all these patchzergs are just that good :)I pray for the day a ghost lands a nuke onto zergschizo's head.
same, brother
Tasteless and some warcraft 3 guy?
>>2355782Tasteless did a stellar job in grubby's tournament, can't wait for him to completely drop the ball with the blizzcon one too
>>2355278i honestly completely forgot about that, how are they making any money?
