What are the prettiest looking 2d rts games in your opinion (or just strategy games in general)?Why don't developers go back to 2d, it's better for strategy gamesI like Twisted Insurrection, Anno 1503, SunAge, AoE DE, and Desert Law (the game is not great but it looks like a crpg, like Fallout II or Planescape, cool visuals)

There was a E3 trailer for commandos 2 that is no longer online I think, it ended with "something is moving" slogan, this trailer to this day looks like peak 2d/pseudo 3d top-down 3/4 isometric graphics to me.
