I really liked my first playthrough but when I went back for my second, it felt too similar for me to want to keep playing. Seems weird because it feels like it's designed for lots of playthroughs with the meta layer. Either way though, it's a fun little narrative strategy game. i put it in the same category as Suzerain.

Suzerain doesn't make you physically move your operatives around the map and do terribad tedious tactical combat and minigames to unlock the next dialogues

Not too surprising, given the board. While the strategic elements aren't very deep, I found it fun enough as an RPG.

Lures you in thinking its a vst but it turns out to be a fucking vn where you just sit pressing the next turn button because there is literally nothing you can do until the story unlocks shit for you
