In the last 100 hours of play time I haven't seen a single crusade for Jerusalem.
AI always goes for Andalusia in the 1066 start, and England or Polabia in the earlier start.

I played ck3 a couple months ago with all the dlc and it felt so empty. The only thing to do is intrigue and war but the battles are so basic compared to ck2. The only noticable improvement from ck2 is the bloodline and culture/tech stuff. I didn't play any mods though

the main challenge of crusder kings 3 is getting your achievement run in ironman done before the next major update makes your save file unplayable

I've got england and wales, the Jomsvikings, enough allies to have like 20k troops. Just curb stomped west francia in a defensive war and took 1500 gold from them in the peace deal. i started as halfdan whiteshirt. but i fear the realm maintenance update comes soon

Characters will really only live to theirs 80s consistently if you max out their genetic traits and always go martial lifestyle. Otherwise they usually only reach late 60s early 70s. Also get a better PC.
