why is Austrian empire the most fun nation to play in pardox games?
It is the extension of playing tall Hungary, the next step is simply tall austria-hungary
It's too OP in Europa.Austria-Hungary is my go to for WW1 and naval games though, since it lets you turtle in the Mediterranean

>expanded massively beyond it's core territory (core meaning the land populated by your primary population, who supports your Empire)>already achieved most of it's geopolitical success>weaker, less organized and less disciplined than their rivals, standing for Imperial decay>gets regularly retarded (verb) by another ethnicity they simp over and which will inevitably destroy their Empire by contributing less and causing them massive problems, resulting in karmic justice, where they lose a ton of territory they consider their "core", despite not having owned them as an independent state since foreverAustria is the least fun nation to play. Brandenburg-Prussia is good, as long as it's still sm0l like in EUV. But never play as a big nation, which already achieved Great Power status, unless you are playing the weakest of them (like Prussia).
>>2379548that's why austrian empire is so fun to play.unlike many of the GPs, it has so many problems which users have to solve, making the country very fun.

>give free personal unions in EU4 and an entire set of inflated manpower and gold buffs from being the emperor of germany>can decide if france dies in the cradle>if you deviate an inch from the historical path you get eaten by all your neighboursYeah I guess you get to have fun playing themPrussia sucked in EU4
>>2380357i'm afraid these are c*tholics
Its like Germany but you can invade the balkans and italy and beat up the ottomans. With Germany you either death war against france or russia and can only expand into sandinavia which takes like 10 seconds.
How do we fix Austria in Diplomacy?
Austria is my favorite country in games because it tends to have the color White which is very kino to see, my next favorite is Russia because they tend to be green.
>>2382458I wonder why, given that Austria's colors were yellow and black, and Russia was red, white and blue.
>>2382466In Russia's case at least their uniforms were green.
>>2382482Funny thing, that.
>>2382482>>2382506now this is interesting and might explain it.
They're ridiculously OP in all paradox games, in EU4 in particular is not even fun how broken they are, I never play them, Ottomans, Castille, England and France for this reason
>>2379548adding to your post, for Vic2 at least>much larger, most of the time hostile neighbor to the east>having to maintain your influence in Germany against encroaching Prussia>having to defend your Italian sphere against France and Sardinia>relatively easy expansion against the Turks as long as nobody backs them>has a lot of the resources to properly industrialize, but initially lacks the finances and literacy to go through with it
>>2382752I kinda doubt they are OP outside of the EU timeline.
