One thing that I will always stand by in gsgs especially those by paradox is that you can't polish a turd. All this is is more bells and whistles that do not interact with the core game mechanics and add at best 5 more hours of play time and like 10 events that will very quickly get old. Why retards continue to purchase this utter garbage is beyond me. The mind boggles.
>>2382840I use smokeapi and just download the DLC's from steamunderground, i never pay for games DLC lol
>>2382840Because Paradox doesn't have any serious competition. There isn't any other grand strategy rp game equal to CK3.
me personally I hope they just expand the map again I love having more room to blob oooh yess !
>>2382840They plan to rework whole economy for republics dlcIll give it a try(free) just to see how it'll turn out
>>2382840>more bells and whistles that do not interact with the core game mechanics>reworking Christianity from the ground up and making theocracy playable>changing the entire economyOK...
>>2385180economy is a joke>building gives direct money>debt is reset on deathAnything resembling economic system would at minimum require a food system, which in turn would require a population of some kind.Instead of the republic DLC is probably going to introduce a new type of mana like every new government.
>>2385216They are introducing trade goods per duchyThere's also going to be districts as layer before the buildingsDevelopment of province is going to be divided in two(size and whatever else it was)I am almost sure it will be broken but ill give it a go just for the novelty of it
>>2385216>debt is reset on deathIsn't that how it worked in real life at the time though? cause the debts were to the king rather than the coutry?
>>2385964No. CK3 is determined to depict countries as these collections of titles, but they did exist as states. And the states passed on debt.E.g. Henry IV accumulated a large debt in his conquest of France, so when he died, he passed it to his infant son, contributing to power of Richard of York
>>2382840This already looks way better than Chapter IV, of curse, PDX will still fuck it up. But in terms of content it is exactly what the game needs.
>>2382840Imagine if this was chapter 1 instead. Or chapter 2, with travelling being chapter 1Crazy how miss managed the game was for the first like 4 years
>>2386081RC was the most dogwater paid content of all time. The culture patch that came with it was OK. But the court itself was fucking awful.
>>2386081It was mismanaged, quite terribly so, but it's made a remarkable comeback. The period between launch until Tours and Tournaments was genuinely bleak. Now it's only getting progressively better and the playercount reflects it.
>>2382840>purchaseSomeone should tell him already. It's been what? 20 years? 25?
>>2386016Except he passed his PERSONAL debt, not a national one. And it got passed, because he made the mistake of borrowing from {{{{{them}}}}}
>>2386081>>2386290The worst part is how they decided to not only make those horrible 3D models, but then force-feed them to other games. Like what in actual fuck? It looks like shit, it's hard to handle and hard to mode and it chugs resources like crazy.WHY did they make it at fucking all?
>>2386346I'm pretty sure it was crown debt
>>2386347Fancy graphics make strategy games better, there are plenty of examples. Also easy cosmetic DLCs
>>2386347They spent shit ton of money in developing the framework for 3D models, so they goddam use them
>>2386347CK3's models are undeniably popular, I don't like the focus on 3d models in the newer paradox games either but it's obvious why they've added them.
>>2386603It's also 2nd attempt at 3D portrait system.Imperator's portraits were seemingly different system that got scrapped
FIRST FOR REPUBLICS
>>2382840Tell me republic add naval battles
