Since CK3 did what CK2 could not, having custom religions, which ones have you created and/or do you plan to create?

Mine
>'Olympian-Tengrism';
>Holy Order: Thy Jovials;
>High Priest (if mod to rename title): Alalcomeneus;
>Great Holy War: Barbaromakia
>>
Despite having more "tenets" and "rules", CK3 religions feel less flavorful than CK2

CK2 was not that good either:

How many CK3 events specifically name a god and don't just invoke [major_god_name]?
>>
I don't like how there's a billion different types of nigger paganism and SEAsian paganism in ck3. It makes it so other religions have less flavor.
>>
Male cheating criminal, female cheating allowed, female dominated, carnal exaltation, divine marriage, sacred childbirth. Sometimes also the polygamy tenet but that means having to allow male cheating.

Based matriarchy fetishist.

Where's the problem? The flavor of Abrahamic religion IS being really obsessive about One True Way, with Christianity and Islam having outright government structures for the faith itself. You gotta get REALLY autistic to dredge up a small fraction as much shit to work with, and I'm not sure Paradox has that in them anymore.

Idk.

After the religion rework i'm making a "we were kings and such" hellenic faith. Basically just a more centralized reform from the old religion but now with divine marriage and mummification. Also christian syncretism because Jesus was a cool dude and his followers buildings and artifacts are neat to have.
>>
99% of custom relgions people make are either for then purpose of reddit memeing or for soulless minmaxing, so overall the feature is a detriment to the game and humanity in general.
>>

Whatever.
*spits on you

>>2447994
>"why yes let me paint a giant "come crusade here" target on my back"
will the rework really change things that much? because way I see it you'll still either have to deal with a milion wars interrupting your larp, or headrush italy and dismantle the papacy so you can larp in peace.

>carnal exaltation
>polyamory
>hedonism
>homosexuality accepted
>deviancy virtuous
>unrestricted marriage
yup, it's crusading time.

I'm going to hopefully add a bunch of features to Regula Magistri, the mod I work on at LoversLab, still waiting to see how cults and stuff will work though

Stopped reading here

How will it works?

Why?

nta but almost all Eurasian religions (and possibly even beyond but the connections become tenous and very "ancient aliens" at that point, the furthest it makes any sort of sense is like Japan) have really similar roots. At the simplest you get a God Father of Heaven, usually with a storm aspect in there somewhere either with him or a son/subordinate, and a Mother Earth. Proto-Indo-European roots are easily traceable into Celtic, Greek, Slavic, Tengrism, Vedic, etc., and that's only the stuff I decided to really investigate, I imagine you could find more connections in more obscure faiths.
The Semites aren't free of this either, the Abrahamic God was a merger between Yahweh, the God of Storms and El, the Father God of Sky. There's a reason why Christianity had such easy time converting vast numbers of people since they struck a balance between uprooting existing beliefs with monotheism and keeping them by syncretism between their God Father of Heavens and primary God Father of Heavens of whoever they were converting.
Greek paganism and Tengriism mixed into one religion is not really very problematic from a "would it work" standpoint.

It's even more simple than that
>Heaven / Sky is "up" and gives water to Earth
>since we, humans, tend to anthropomorphize
>Heaven is male, the father of all life, and Earth is female, the mother
Also, it's not always the case, since in the Egyptian religion
>Earth is male, Geb
>Sky is female, Nut (Kek)
I don't know how ancient egyptians deduced that the creation of life was similar to that of the seahorse (the male is the one that gets pregnant).

how do AI controlled mongols work anyway?
I saw a dangerously large khanate over there and started murdering (god bless intrigue specced echaracters) til it was just some ill kid and his baby sister at the lead hoping the whole thing would far apart before they get to the point of declaring themselves "great khan". five years later, now on a diplomacy-maxxing ruler I get the "great khan has risen" popup.
I check on that one empire, see the kid died and the baby sister is now struggling to keep shit together, but lacks any "great khan" traits.

I do a character search and find the guy, with a single fucking county of the mongol empire deep in the blob I was trying to kill, holding near perfect numbers of prestige and money (eg: 235000, clean zeroes, no trailing digits)

is it really all just pre-scripted, dude just appearing from thin air? kinda lame
