You've entirely missed the point, which is that the only real skill based matchmaking in the game hypothetically happens by trying to match MR, but because you can optionally avoid the MR system entirely and go farm people still playing "the tutorial" it doesn't have the population spread to actually work (rank changes being per match instead of per BO3 also means people playing against lower ranks are incentivized to one and done doesn't help) except maybe in Tokyo where 3 digit MR can actually exist.Like have you ever actually thought about how the average rando has an inflated perception of how good they are in FPS or assfaggots but they simultaneously all think they are total dogshit and never win in fighting games even when they're as active as SF6? It doesn't add up until you realize the games are built that way instead of having them play each other.
