I was supporting homostars before /vt/ existed. I've paid for concerts and events. I keep a collection of cute Izuru clips for my personal viewing, I'm pretty sure if you searched archives for this I'm the only motherfucker who was posting clips from this holostars event on the general. I've written essays to fight the fight on why people should watch the boys. I manually translated a bunch of their songs to enjoy them better. I supported the ENs as best as I could too, I'm like 300 views on Woven Fates and actively participated in that last good week they had.I fucking dipped because not only was the Vesper-Magni-Jurard trifecta absolutely distasteful, but they ran me out of the goddamn general I was posting in from day 1 because any criticism about them and how they were bringing the branch down would get a bunch of people telling me I was a hololive unicorn coming to shitpost. There was absolutely no place left on the internet where I could discuss holostars in good faith and it slowly made the streams less fun for me even when I was able to successfully ignore the various problems by not engaging with the community.
