The problem with male vtubers is that the whole appeal of vtubing is that it removes your appearance from the equation so you can thrive on your personality alone.With females, this means that the femcels, fat weebs or just mid and ugly girls and so on who actually have some talents or fun personalities but would never have a chance being idols or streamers because they're not pretty enough get a chance to shine, but with men, it's already possible to be a popular streamer without being a chad. People already do that, there's no such barrier, so instead of getting their talents from the elite and most talented uggos like with girls, male vtubers are being selected from people who are already second or third rate among ugly incel men who couldn't make it as normal streamers.They're picking from the same demographics, but because it's easier for ugly men to get popular, they're not getting the best among that group.Men also don't have a simp bonus like girls do, and most vtuber fans are male weebs.Another problem is that it's socially acceptable for women to be simps, so if they want a parasocial relationship with a male celeb they can just pick kpop idols or whatever. They don't have to hide among weebs
