Hello liggermen, OG Numbers anon/Round up anon here, with a bit of an announcement. Going forward I will no longer be working on the monthly numbers posts. It's been an honor and a privilege doing the monthly numbers for all of you, but i've reached the point where I feel like it is time to move on from it. The primary reason as to why is that over the course of the last 3 years, it has grown to be a fairly large and cumbersome project to do monthly, and I do not use any scrapers, bots, script, ect in compiling the list, I've always done it manually, and with the collapse of Vshojo adding 10+ vtubers to an already very loaded tracking (from the time that i started tracking to now the list of vtubers has nearly tripled), plus the additions of new youtube specific channels to track, manually removing flesh streams from data tracking, and trying to make sure people meet the minimum streaming requirement, it's made me look at the amount of sheer digging through data I now have to do I realized this is now beyond my own capabilities to keep track of the way I had been doing it. It's reached the point of me working on multiple days worth of info to just make one post, and as much as I've enjoyed making these posts and digging through the data over the years, I feel like that would become a lot more effort than I can justify, especially when I am squeezing it in now between things in my personal life as is. I'd rather take this free time and watch more streams, play more games, and enjoy myself than putting myself through and increasingly self imposed work load I don't need.I will still be doing the daily stream round ups because i do really enjoy doing those for people and seeing what all the vtubers are up to each day, and I'll still be around hanging out and posting with you all. But I think despite all of that, things will sort themselves out overtime.
