>>104749144wasn't this dude /here/?
>>104749144No
I went to 5th FESNot worth it imo, streams are a better experience. The Japan trip sure as hell was worth it though.
Saw both days of Breaking Dimensions. Great show and experience
>>104749144>no hololive concerts in Europeso, what do you think?
I went to Ado's concert. It was okI'm expecting holo shows to be also okbut the memories, priceless
All for One! I'm in this low quality screengrab from Day1Plans for Chromatic Future in November!
>>104749144i won't leave my room
>>104751216this exists
>>104749192yeah
>>104749144Went to both AFO and BD also went to Mori's concert in LA
I've been to BD and AFO. I'm normally a pretty introverted person who doesn't go out much but I have to say I enjoyed the experiences more than I thought I would. Just meeting other fans who are not ironic weebs, people who unironically enjoy stuff, is great. Everyone is very open and nice and people often offer you free stuff they made. There's usually some groups of people who go get something to eat or go to karaoke or do a picture or have a banner to sign and in my experience, people are very open and you can join even if you don't know anyone there. I would recommend everyone try it at least once to see if you like it, you might be surprised. I know I was. Although there are a ton of ironic weebs and cosplay whores asking for money for pics, but steer clear of those.
>>104749144>Have you ever been to a hololive concert in personhave the talents?
>>104749144No I have some self respect not much albeit but enough to stay away from those
Went to Connect the World so I actually got to hear Full Color and was at the only EN concert that had a teaser for a new gen.
>>104749144I've been to multiple. They're not worth it, and this is coming from someone who goes to a ton of anisong concerts. The performances in Holo concerts feel soulless cause they are pre-recorded so you're basically just watching a video.
>>104757935based and sameanyone have good stories from their experience? >standing in line to get into the venue>make small talk with people around about favorites>find out several us live within 100 miles of each otherwe flew halfway across the country so not like we were locals
>>104757935It was also the only EN concert to be fully prerecorded, even the MCs, and to have the guests be completely separate and not mixed in with the EN branch. I'm glad I didn't go.
>>104758353going to blog about how I got to go to connect the world>used to go to local anime cons with friend>always talked about going to a big one>get friend into watching hololive>find out first NA concert is same weekend as anime expo>convince friend to go >try to get tickets to connect the world>no luck>still have everything booked for anime expo so decide to do it anyway>about 3 hours before connect the world scheduled to start>sitting in line for a panel>bullshitting with friend that we should have been getting ready for the concert right now and talking about going to hotel to watch it instead>guy in line overhears and ask if we were going to it live>tell him story>he asks if we want to go>says he has some tickets he has been trying to get rid of because he got better ones>ask how much is he asking for them>"at this point I just want to get rid of them to people who would enjoy it">look at friend>friend is sketched out and says no>tell him i'll go alone then because may never get this chance>get ticket transferred>looks legit>rush back to hotel and get uber>go to concert>have a great time and had an open seat next to me so not crowded everything went better than expected except for the crazy cost of the uber leaving the venue after
>>104749144No. I don't like crowds. Cons are okay but concerts really aren't my thing. That said if my oshi hooks something up in my area I'll wade through flames to get a ticket.
I went to Okayu's second sololive. It was a lot of fun hanging out with other fans all day before the concert and the concert was a lot of fun too, highly recommendAlso you can meet a bunch of artists at these meetups, including big names (just don't be a doxfag)
>>104749144I went to Connect the World and I'm going to Sora's in a week
>>104756804If you mean going there to perform, yes. In the recent EN concert the ID girls were critcizing the food in NYC, calling it bland and expensive.
Did 1 day at BD, stage 1 of Fes this year, the world tour concert at ANYC this year, and both days of AFO, in addition to various other non-holo vtuber concerts. I had a lot of fun. The audio quality in some of the venues (especially Fes & the World Tour) wasn't great, but a lot of the enjoyment for me is just the generally crowd energy and vibe. It was also fun to meet other Hololive/vtuber fans since I work a really soulsucking corporate job with giganormie coworkers who I have nothing in common with. Also eternally grateful to the anon from my split who gave me his extra ticket for stage 1 of fes after I lost every lotto.
I really want to go to one some day. I want to meet other hololive fans
>>104749144I was at the 6th fes and the last two EN concerts+tours. Incredible experience, and very different from watching a stream. I think, I like EN ones a lot more than fes. They give each member more songs, so it doesn't feel as overcrowded. The venues are smaller, but a lot better. Plus, the EN crowd feels more energetic, and that's a big part of the experience. World Tour is great too, but the quality of the venue can vary a lot between stops.
>>104749144Never unfortunately, I would really want to go though...
Yes, I went to 5th fes It was an amazing experience for me, but it's the only show (concert?) and anison related thing I've ever been to. Take that as you will.
