If I were to start vtubing as a male neeto with no prospects, using a small cute avatar and having a neutral voice, would I have a chance of building a small audience, or does that public only want females like elfinpsyopIt's a serious question. I'm not baiting.
Only one way to find out
>>104802261Are you comfortable with a large part of your audience being gay men and fujos? Do you have a deep voice and an acceptable accent? And by that I mean no SEA, no Chinese, etc. British is the best.If you answered no to either of these questions then you are better of as a flesh streamer and just get good with the gaming and the humour
>>104802261As a male chuuba or a babiniku?
>>104802261If you used a female avatar I'd say a 3view at best. Realistically though you'd probably be a 2view. The market is oversaturated and unless you fit into some obscure niche, then you won't be noticed.
>>104802261Only females
>>104802261as a male you have 2 choices, whore yourself like old vox or be a nobody and sexpest any girl you come across or both at the same time
>>104802261Don't even bother no one likes males in the vtubing space not even trannies watch them.
>>104802261>babiNo one would watch you as soon as they hear your voice, don't think about using a voice changer because they sound horrible and people will think you're a troon
>>104802261You would lose money for sure.
>>104802261>>104806689This but I disagree that all voice changers sound horrible. It's just a skill issue on the user's endThe way to employ a voice changer correctly is to practice and get really good at pitching your normal voice up one octave. If you then use the voice changer to pitch it up one more octave, you will sound natural.Discerning viewers will still figure it out if you don't fake your laughs or control yourself when yelling.
