The worst part of it is that people don't get why. Its not even a jealousy aspect, they just suck. Enough that their fans make every excuse not to watch them. Not even trying to be mean saying it, but for the beggars side, if your own fans just virtue signal, but do everything in their power to avoid watching much except for clips, that's bad. Because then you're just supporting the clipper, not the person. For the honest fans of them, male vtubers often just are repulsed even by women, which is why the demographics skew mostly negative, while women equally support female vtubers. And the reasoning? It fucks up the dynamic between community and talent that doesn't really happen with just female vtubers with other female vtubers. Whether you have some awkwardly not getting the vibe and just becoming antagonistic to the audience, or the audience getting weird about a ship and start dunking on the gal (which ends up completely baffling like that one Vexoria chicken who suddenly had her fans start preferring her husband and mocking her). So many reasons just that the dynamic doesn't really work. Whatever fun they think is missing from those type of collabs it all ends up just funky in the end. My rant aside, I think Rissa at least kinda gets that much. But the primary thing that sticks out to me that none of the pro collab people can refute, is that if they were precious to them, you'd watch them regularly. Its just easier to use the "unicorn" excuse as a scapegoat to not face that fact. My two cents, long-winded as it is.
