They had the highest score coming out of groups, but that group had the worst scoring third and fourth placed teams. Thus ends VTL9. For those who weren't watching, the winner was /xvsj+/. I hope you guys had fun - we had a good run, all the way to RO16 with only one loss. More importantly than performance, though, I hope everyone liked the new aesthetics!! There's only one player left who needs changes, and that is "Post Wife", one of the DMFs (who didn't play very much this league, but she's a default Polka). If you have any ideas for the player, let me know, but I'll put up an official poll soon while it's fresh in our minds. Otherwise, we'll be back in six months to try again. >>105220396It's a little peek behind the kimono, but I wouldn't take that stuff too seriously. When I was getting ready for VTL9 I tested extensively against that exact export. It's strong, but in tests I achieved a roughly 50/50 winrate against it. I also considered copying it 1:1 and didn't have the level of success one would imagine. On the other hand, I've intentionally lobotomized teams and then played against them and had close games. It's WAY more of a coinflip than people think. Sometimes the AI genuinely just shits the bed, too. I believe that's what happened to us vs vsj, the team just suddenly became retarded.
