I think such ASMR has a strong enough market made out of people who are struggling to shit so it could be eventually viable to make an alt but even if your quality is outstanding it's always gonna be a struggle to check you out in the first place. here to ask for advice. i was a crypto vtuber streaming to fuck all sites. i was really demoralized lately because someone on a suiika premade model highkey mogged me despite me drawing and rigging my shit etc etc, i was trying to fill the niche of being the first crypto vtuber (and am) but yeah

tbf, this was the wrong niche since things move very quickly in crypto, and it's very much about getting your bag up and leaving rather than interacting with others or consuming content or participating in community

i was a normal mid-sized vtuber before, but i kind of fell off / liked hanging out with friends too much that i stopped streaming (also i was an asmr vtuber so you can see how the menhera ramps up when nobody shows up outside of asmr. nichelocked, essentially)

i don't have any archives of streams except the few times i streamed on x so please overlook how old this is

but i just wanted to ask, is it worth it for me to continue streaming? is there literally potential at all for me as a vtuber? i guess this is my crossroad, because as much as i love vtubing and streaming, i'm not going to force it if it's joever

If you were twitch partner that means people like you before you pivoted into crypto. People do enjoy you for who you are and if you like streaming then go for it. Vtubing and streaming is very time consuming and at the end of the day it's important to have fun doing it. Even though you say you're only good at ASMR, at least that's one plus to skillset. thank you! i misspoke, i was the first vtuber there because my friends who are in crypto told me it was an unfilled niche and told me to start streaming when that site first came out.

i do not care for crypto, but the reason that the viewers at that time were fond of me (also it was like 300ccv per stream on that site) was because i knew nothing about crypto, and it was one of the few wholesome communities at that time (people were like, shooting chickens and fish and flashing titties and shit for their coin to make money LOL)

regarding communities within crypto, they do exist, just not in the way of content creators. at most, it might be some people posting their insane wins and people copytrading them and idolizing them that way, etc, i find little in the way of community that is satisfying to me

and of course i love it. i want nothing more but i hate to feel it killing my passion when i pour so much love and effort into things and not seeing it get better. it's like, if i were to start knitting and i spent months and i was still shitty at it. a shitty scarf after months of practice is the same result to me as not having caught anyone's attention, as it speaks more to my shortcomings, and less about actual numbers

Sorry, but this is a far too different hobby from anything that relates to purely yourself and no external factor, some people can hear your voice and just because it triggers a bad memory close your stream, others (as people already said btw) can hear about your whole gimmick and discard you entirely because of previous experiences with anything crypto. Sadly your efforts don't always equate so many results in the world of entertainment, if you want to do something that will for sure give you many more results based on how much you pour your soul, mind and body onto it there are other areas of life and crafts, but you shouldn't be making everything about just the results...
