By the end of my first month my art was still bad by all accounts, but it was so much better than when I'd started I almost couldn't believe I'd drawn it, and to this day over a year later overcoming that initial hurdle is still something I think about whenever I start feeling like the new thing I'm trying to learn is literally fucking impossible because that was exactly how I felt back then too.>and I'm colorblind anyway.Don't let this stop you either. Working in color is nice, but it is a LOT of extra work, and there are plenty of incredible artists out there who rarely or even never use it.TL;DR pick up that pencil NOW.

Hey anon, certain vtuber who posts bbw art on twitter here. As someone who is a novice with art as well, I assure you with time and patience you will be able to create things you never imaged you could. It will be hard and it will make you want to stop and cry, but if you allow yourself the time and patience to grow I promise you you will thank yourself for pushing yourself to try. Don't try to force yourself to be doing colored art or crazy shading, just doodle what you like and when you want to challenge yourself then try something new! Remember that art is like a sunset, it's all over the place and a bit of a mess but it's special because no other sunset will be the same. There are many talented artists in the world but there's only one you. Don't be afraid to do something, face it head on and have fun!
