Ina and Kronii hate their skimpy outfits but they were some of the biggest merch sellers in the EN branch. Still after Hololive had an 8 talent graduation wave they can't afford to damage their reputation with more graduations. Most EN fans will turn against Cover if they believe the girls hate their employer. There is a really good chance this HoloEN nexus portal event will be the solution to the redesign fights that have been going on since 2022. The last time Cover released lore about traveling to other dimensions Aruran got a completely different design...
