They do have a few corpos like Project Starscape, Virtualism, and Waconne, but it's a total shit show.
Project Starscape is probably about to die because most of their talents don't stream, and behind the scenes, crazy shit is happening. For example, the CEO probably made the company just to have girls he could sleep with. He dated a few of his talents, flies them out whenever he feels like it, and other talents went on a witch hunt to falsely accuse an indie Indian VTuber of being a pedophile using out-of-context screenshots. Another talent ran away from home because her family was forcing her to get married. Another is extremely poor and can't stream because she has to work multiple jobs. They also tried this "cosplaytuber" Or whatever they like to call this nonsense. Hiring cosplayers to stream, and even then, they can't manage that. They also hired some Anitubers to stream with them, but they all do everything except stream or make content. They love pretending they're a big deal, but all they do is gossip, cause drama, and bitch about each other.
Virtualism went nowhere simply because they have no idea how to run a company. They had the money, the models, everything. Except the sense to find talents who can actually stream. They don't even know what to do to get things started. Instead, they're busy doing everything except the things that would make their company gain traction. They're just cosplaying as a company while doing nothing.
Waconne is a complete fraud. They nepotism-hired big voice actors from the Indian industry, thinking it would give them traction but it didn't. So they resorted to botting subscribers. They have around 200K subs but get barely 10 regular viewers and less than 150 views on their VODs. Their official website is also a mess. AI slop art, tons of spelling mistakes, and overall garbage design.

They have seven talents, but only two stream regularly, one of whom is a pseudo-feminist with insane sexist takes. Their parent company will probably realize soon that they're funding trash. Everyone behind the scenes has no idea how the industry works. It's like a blind man trying to write Chinese hieroglyphics.

The indie Indian VTubers aren't any better. They do everything except stream or make content and the ones who do make content, just produce garbage. Recently, they went on a witch hunt to take down one of their own, who was actually streaming regularly, using fake screenshots and false claims. Behind the scenes, these people act like mean schoolgirls. They put so much effort into doing nothing that even resembles being a VTuber. They just love cosplaying as one but don't have the willpower to actually be one. It's a pattern with the entire scene at this point. They're worse than Vtweeters.
There will probably never be a real Indian corpo, simply because the people who enjoy VTubers here just watch Hololive, Phase Connect, and other real agencies. Who'd want to watch watered-down garbage anyway? Honestly, I'm glad most people in this thread don't know about them you're doing yourself a favor by staying ignorant of their existence.

so,
>India is literally shit
goes for anything and everything
I'd say "good to know" but I already knew that because it's fucking india lmao

I don't care too much but just so the only reply to this thread isn't oversatured pol shit that's actually pretty bad to hear, do they speak English or Hindu in there? How good is the quality of their models/setups?
>>
>>105976003
To add to this you should've made a collage or something because not many people know about this or are gonna bother researching
>>
>>105976003
it may be polshit but it's reality, reaffirmed over and over and over again
>>105976036
india and anime don't mix
the failure of niji "en" should've been a clear signal that it was never going to work there
>>
A small part of the reality of India, a country with over 1 billion people. There are white (literal) street shitters in America, in Germany, Ukraine, etc. It's like actually believing everyone in China eats dogs.
>>
>>105976454
The funniest thing is that from the sounds of it NijiIN was the most successful attempt at making Indian vtubers that make content.
>>
>>105976733
As a matter of fact yes...yes it was the successful one becuse it moslty had a non indian following

THE GREAT INDIAN VTUBERS: Been around these groups long enough to say it straight - the whole Indian vtuber scene is garbage. everyone acts like they’re running a big agency when they can barely handle a Discord server. Nobody knows what they’re doing, and they make excuses like 'I'm new to this VTubing,' while they've been doing VTubing for almost a year.

the “corpos” are just kids with delusions of grandeur. fake sub counts, fake hype, zero effort. They bot their numbers so they can look “big” to each other while pulling ten live viewers on a good day, and don’t even start with “management.” Management consists of mods and a guy whose contract expires and is renewed verbally.

Project Starscape? racist, hypocritical, gossip-driven. waconne? inflated corpse running on botted metrics and nepotism, shitiest company you can imagine. they’re all the same — people who wanted to copy hololive without the work, discipline, or understanding of what makes vtubing even function.

the “talents” don’t stream. when they do, it’s laggy, awkward, and half-assed. They ignore feedback, blame everyone else, and then cry about “lack of support.” They act friendly in public, then backstab each other in private. every single one of them thinks they’re the victim while being part of the same trash fire.

it’s all about image, not effort. they want the clout, the art, the simps — but not the grind that comes with it. they think vtubing is just slapping on an avatar and acting cute for a few hours. none of them care about fans, only about status inside their tiny, dying bubble.

the indian VTuber scene isn’t “small but growing.” It’s already rotting. every “agency” that’s popped up is run by people who shouldn’t even be near a streaming setup. no skill, no management, no professionalism, no self-awareness. just a bunch of amateurs cosplaying as corpos and acting like they’re the next big thing.

It's way more then 1 year brother some people have been in the community since 2019 but still all of them feel like they don't even have a month of exp.
>>
>>105976003
They usually stream in English, trying desperately to appeal to an international audience. The few who can’t speak even basic English are forced to stream in Hindi instead. Most of the indies use pre-made models, while the corporate VTubers usually have custom models that look quite good. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the people behind them. Honestly, they should just retire and donate their models to none Indian indie VTubers.

I don't know why anyone would actively try to type like ChatGPT.
>>
>>105982238
They aren't trying, they are outright using chatgpt to compose their post. It is the closest version they have of having a higher-IQ lens since we call them out for their bad english all the time

Depressing to think about

Honestly Ive literally never heard about this

>>105973795

>>
what's the skin tone of their models and what does it say about india?
>>
>>105981610
>no self-awareness.
This could be a good tagline for India as a whole.
