>>106310421I replayed through IV recently and I get why she prefers V over it. IV is way more driving oriented. Missions in Liberty City are spread out much further than they are in Los Santos where the majority of the single player game takes place in the lower section of the map. Plus the cars in IV are really heavy and harder to control. It also lacks regenerative health and the only checkpoint system in the game is for the final mission. So basically IV is way tougher and expects more from you verses V where if you die you just go back to the last moment where you died. In IV you have to restart the whole mission all over again.I greatly prefer IV's story, but V is a lot more casual friendly and Shondo is prone to give up on games that frustrate her.

>>106310993IV is easily the worst of the 3D GTA games. Whilst it was still fun, it was a little disappointing, especially after the massive hits that were San Andreas and Vice City. It also set the stage for the shitshow money making machine that is GTA online.
