It's true that it's easier to get read and they appreciate even the tiniest support more, but on the other hand they're also very likely to get groomed, often sit on fan discords or privately talk and play with their mods or groomers.
Regardless of what type of streamer they are, i have never seen a good chat with more than ~1.5k people, and a lot of them go to shit already before that (depends entirely on the topic and what kind of people it attracts)
