the tax rrat makes the most sense, or something similar like visa complications (remember when Ina was sidelined for a while over Visa issues?) might have taken time to get the Visa approval, they assumed everything would work out as usual and got started waiting for it to get approved. then it got denied or didn't get approved as fast as they thought and they are stuck in limbo waiting for visa approval or something like that.

The Hololive Rrat is less believable but is possible. despite what Antis say, most of phase are Hololive fans, including Fishman. And Nyana is friends with alot of Phase staff. if she truly got into Hololive or got past the preliminaries they might be giving her time to see if she makes it in. As good as Phase is, getting into Hololive is a golden ticket and they might be waiting to see if she gets in. Phase seems to be the kind of company that would work something like this out, or if they are not, having someone like Nyana who is a huge phase ally in hololive could be beneficial for multiple reasons. Nyana would be very grateful to Phase for working with her in this way too.

The demon mentions could be referring to another vtuber, possibly Iron mouse. With Vshoujo dead right around the same time, it could be that Iron mouse is starting another group of Vtubers and maybe offered membership to Nyana.
