There isn't really an ideal collab time for EN, but it's been more shifted around due to people leaving, I believe.
So, Shiori, GG, and Nerissa live in the US. I'll also include Kronii, although she's in Canada, not the US. Multiple members use to live there before they either left Hololive, or moved to Japan.
FuwaMoco, Bae, IRyS, Biboo, Raora, Calli, and often Ina live in Japan.
That leaves ERB, Kiara, and CC, who live in Europe.
Each of these time zones are about a third off from each other, meaning that one time zone is completely screwed either way. Out of all of these, it often goes to the JP-EU timezone, which is at JP Prime time, due to the amount of members in Japan and the often absence of US members.

I could handle, say, Among Us well enough since I also enjoy watching Biboo, but if there's no one you enjoy watching who is streaming then those are hell. And even then we all want Cece more than any particular game, which these collabs tend to deprive us of.

No. I think things were great until Japan. After Japan she love bombed us a little and we had a brief period of excellence but things declined again rapidly.

We're all obviously there for her, but when we can barely see her or sometimes not at all, plus we can't even hear her talk to herself about the game or what she wants to do outside of talking to someone else, it's just not fun sadly, and with how the POVs were you would have to look through like 30 hours of streams to get all the little moments everyone saw of her
And I get the aspect of her wanting to just have fun with friends, but it's not just about that, they wouldn't stream it if it was
Also even she said that she knows how bad it is without a POV, it was almost right before the last Among Us collab even and we still didn't get one...

I appreciate the honest feedback. And I guess I can't say you're wrong, there was a noticeable change near the start of 2025, just hard to say if it was her or her circumstances that caused it. Certainly, being an extrovert and finally meeting/getting a chance to collab with senpai was a part of it, though.

Maybe I've been coping that we'll get a quick return to prime zeitplans because I've been going through it myself since around when she returned from Japan. The relative lack of solo streams hasn't helped things. I should go touch grass.
