For one, you would have to divide your attention among multiple chats. By that I not only mean simply reading and responding to messages during the stream, but also moderating it, setting up polls, typing messages, pinning messages, troubleshooting, etc. Isn't just one chat overwhelming enough sometimes? Then there is the fact that you would have to be mindful of two TOSs simultaneously. We all know how stupid and arbitrary they can be. In particular, twitch has certain rules for multistreaming in place that effectively make the streamer give preferential treatment towards the twitch chat. There are also twitch specific things that could disrupt the stream, like raids from random people, hype trains, redeems, etc. Those things are twitch exclusive, and it wouldn't be great to submit your audience on youtube to that.

If I were to hazard a guess, she comm'd her YT emote artist (https://x.com/omochigomee) for these animated ones back when she first agreed to join the Twitch event, and the event also probably included a basic level of channel set-up they needed to implement.

I don't pay attention to chat at all. Like, I like seeing chat's responses, but that's about it.
I don't feel like it's "You just want CC to read YOUR comment, " but I barely even factor in chat when it comes to content. Even polls barely affect it, due to rarity, and with how CC uses polls, I doubt she would dual stream those.
