The reason for the strict separation is that she and Mumei aren't precisely the same person and she doesn't want those expectations placed on her when she has no intention of meeting them. This is separate from her not having plans to be a vtuber. I think that is entirely because of her coughing issue still not being resolved. If she were able to talk for long periods without it being an issue, I think she'd be open to vtubing again.
