You know after watchings Raoras hiatus announcement I kinda wish IRyS had done it way back in the day. She needs the surgery eventually it's completely inevitable, and if she had done that into her 2.0 announcement it would have been perfect. We'd have more streams and she could go full power in every karaoke. 3+ months with no hope back then would have really driven me crazy though so I guess I just appreciate her managing it as best can now Besides not sleeping enough still

Vocal nodules don't really "heal", but they also don't cause any active harm or replicate on their own - they are completely benign.With proper technique and a healthy lifestyle she won't grow any more of them and everything will stay the way it is, while getting surgery can absolutely affect her voice negatively. Suisei had it and she's admitted herself she can't hold particular notes anymore since the surgery and that's an example where things went pretty well.
