I really hope densetsu succeeds, but I don't have much faith in it. I feel like the vtuber space in general is kind of dying, and the opportunity for densetsu to grow into something that matters or can sustain itself just isn't there anymore. But maybe I'm just being negative.

There isn't something like "the indiesphere" because without some corpo saying what you should or should not do, content creators are free to do whatever they like, it's much more diverse than corpo vtubing. Feebs has been doing fine for years now, so I also don't share that pessimistic outlook that others have. Densetsu.exe would be a success already if nothing changes and they can perform here and there. Of course, the pandemic is over and with it, that vtuber hype. Things are much more established now, that's all. Vtubing isn't dying, /vt/ is. And /vt/ in large parts sees virtual idols as the highest form of vtubing, I guess it's mostly because of how they bootlick Hololive, a corpo which used to focus on that idol niche. Since nobody knows Japanese, many anons have a warped perception about that corpo and now feel disillusioned by their English branch which adds to the impression that vtubing might be dying. In the end, it might just be difficult for Indies to do idol activities because they lack the resources to do so. I know those are a lot of words, all I want to say is that I have high hopes in our underground idols and expect them to do well.
