So much content gone and lost forever. Boorus harken back to a Web 1.0 world and there are many that are up with decades old content stored in them that can no longer be found any place else.Should Booru Project shut down, I sincerely HOPE they would give people six months to a year in advance of notice of shut down, instead of just pulling the plug randomly one day or letting something expire with the site and then not bothering not renewing it.

They gave advance notice in 2018 when they had to move real porn off the domain due to new laws. They gave advance notice before banning loli and moving it to the defunct lolibooru.com. But that was all communicated on their blog which they disabled a year ago. They're also best buds with John Gelbooru who bought Realbooru off of them, so that could be another way out.
