In fairness management has every reason to hide yabs especially with HoloEarth which might be the most expensive project in the history of Hololive. The development cost for a Metaverse MMO game is huge and Cover has at least 100 employees working on it. Japanese people outrage didn't came from the deads, but because the police and the news and newspaper were treating Kozo with a way more leniency than a normal suspect on a similar case. And to add more fuel to the fire is the fact that Kozo never admitted guilty and tried to shift blame to a mechanical fault.
Both are equally bad.

Cover has a long history of damage control with management acting like everything they do is random chance. 2.there is a possibiity that they are just outsourcing the person who made this character(which is low, because they would say it in the statement, but I won't cut the possibility yet)
3.this character was added recently, because they found it at holo id concert
4.drama still goes on, so cover will release more statement.
5.My statement is of course, trying to defense cover. this could be a human errror from reviewing team(Which is different from production team ) since there was no keyword in game sentences (such as prius missile) and npc name was written in katakana too. so they will probably investigate this first and make another statement, maybe they will fire both team but we have to wait.
