3d with phase is tricky because fish dragged his feet for so long on 3d (and for good reason), they now have 30 talents who dont have 3d models. like this isn't hololive they don't have the money for 30 3d models. so what qualifies for getting it? is it the long rumored 100k subs? is it based on money you have made? is it based on tenure? is it based on individual talent wanting it and proving to be available at any moment to be a 3d slave? you have talents that have been around for 2-3-4 years that don't have it yet. but some of them don't even want 3d they dont give a shit, so do you just bypass them and reward them with new outfits instead?

phase is doing their best, but they kinda fucked up the process even with 3d debuts. if they could do it over, they should have taken 1 extra day and record their individual 3d lives way back when they were recording the ANYC concert. then their 3d debuts would have happened last fall. instead the entire process got delayed over a year

like where is rie's 3d? i don't really give a rats ass about her, but i want her to have it because i know it means lia x rie duolive will be a thing and it gives lia a new person to dance with if she gets the chance to. it is about adding to the figurative show and what can make the shows even better

I am a huge proponent on 3D going to talents who are all-in.
3D changed Lia's vtubing life and unlocked a talent she was never able to show. She sat on the sidelines for 3-years was never asked to perform or never been on a mainstage because nobody besides us knew she was dancer waiting to pop off.
So how many other Lia's are there in Phase waiting to be unlocked? Identify them, make a group of them and make something out of it? Something different than the Lumi/Wish style and the A/LURE style. an actual idol group that does actual intricate idol dances.
