I don't blame either of them, they likely went in to it thinking it was just like some Minecraft mod when it's like Minecraft 5 compared.
The issue with hyper-autist gamers is they often don't understand that non hyper-autists don't see games the same way. I can, I can see how people would hate games like Cataclysm DDA and Dwarf Fortress, I love them both and find them easy after you learn the atrocious controls, but they are still complex to get in to despite that, there's loads of interacting systems and complexity at every level. Same with Satisfactory, or autistic micromanagement mods for the Mincedrafts.
It's like that one issue I also see pop up at times where people find the idea of "living on the road" really cool, but if you honestly go in to it without learning how to fix literally fucking everything ever, electrics, plumbing, vehicle maintenance, water purification, air quality monitoring, everything, you will have a very bad time with it. You've got to remember these decisions were made at the very top of the corporate chain, where all these things are basically footnotes on their P&L and they're all losses. They're only keeping V4M because it's their flagship and it's a lot harder to axe, but it's still going to be cheaper for them to just have V4M girls go to JP to do mocap or work with a 3rd party. I wouldn't be shocked if in the next few months we see the same separation with Brave EU. I know we like to think about things from the western corpo scene perspective but from the level of a group managing neoporte and vspojp these corps are all just massive lossmakers that would take too much time and energy of people who have much more profitable branches to focus on in order to fix
