Spaces have been neglected for a while and it's getting worse faster and faster but so far recording them through ytdl works fine, which means you can shove the m3u file into a decent player like MPV and have something you can use in real time
It seems to be recent bloat making Twitter check on something or other in the background instead of trying to maintain the space connection alive
Maybe minimizing spaces prevents that for now but it will keep breaking more over time if Twitter stopped caring
