Based on what we know from her personality, I think she probably will eventually come back
I'm seeing so many heimin just outright asking for her to come back outside of holo
>>107449975As they should. She's the one who opened that pandora's box. It used to be taboo to just outright say it like that, but once she's made an explicit reference to it, it's fair game.
>>107449975That's fine. There are heimin who still wish for her to stay, but that would be difficult unless something within Cover changes drastically.
>>107444756what would be her preferred brand of tabako
The only thing keeping me going right now is belief that she'll reincarnate. Don't think Holo is healthy for her at this point but such a good singer shouldn't go back to part time work, seriously

>>107453799>4. Lamy, AZKI, Towa and Luna...I may as well ask, what was the deal with Watame and Kanata anyway? Just a numbers thing? All I can recall was Watame vaguely mentioning being unable to beat her way back when and they just seemed so averse to interacting ever since.

>>107454226Watame talked about Kanata at the start of her Pokemon stream after Kanata's announcement. There were times were she was worried about Kanata's health when she sees her and asked her Manmohan if something is wrong. There She also checked out some of Kanta's streams where she thought Kanata looked tired. It's likely just a mutual autism thing like with HnK. I'm stuck at the bargaining stage hoping that she could go back to being a utaite or indie
>>107463934I think that's quite possible, just not right away.On one hand she did say she won't reincarnate, that she doesn't want to work in entertainment anymore, and that she wouldn't be able to put out a cover a month anyway, but on the other hand she still does love singing, and I believe she cares for heimin, too. Give her some time to sort her life out, to try different things and to think things over. I believe there is a chance she'll be back in some form by the end of next year.
There was that stream a long time ago whith several holomems, I think Kanata, Miko and Marine were in, and they drew various things in response to prompts. One of them included a question about a magical power they'd want, and I think Kanata chose a power to instantly take away her fatigue and to feel rested.Anyone remember what stream was that? Even if Kanata reincarnate, she will never sing again.temper your expectations.
>>107468019>she will never sing againEven if she never puts the same dedication into being a singer again, I doubt that she'd just outright not sing again IF she returned. That is, assuming her meniere's doesn't become dramatically worse, but in that case I doubt she'd reincarnate to begin with.
>>107468019That's the inverse of what can happen. She will only return if she wants to sing again.

>>107468730A large amount of people have a very big hate boner for Dark Souls 2 for what I find to be very flimsy reasons - the ADP req is something you fix within a few hours of the start of your playthrough and then never think about again, the gank squad enemy placement is not much worse than Sekiro or a lot of Elden Ring segments, and the somewhat clunky feel of the gameplay is something you just get used to if you play more than 3 hoursI'm not in the know about how holos decide what games to play but I surmise they have some source from which they take recommendations, and Dark Souls 2 does not appear to be on that list
>>107468962who?

>>107469051You might be right, like I said I don't knowI do understand that Noel dropped it though, because it is by far the most difficult From game to get a grip on, which is a shame because there are moments in it which are real kino(especially if you combine it with the lore) that I think a lot of holomem would enjoy a lot, including taso
saw a post worrying about taso possibly selling her PCi didn't really think about that but i hope she doesn't, that thing is a beefcake
>>107469208Playing 2 after 3 is definitely setting yourself up for some interesting continuity and lore moments and since taso paid attention to all that stuff I really wanted to see that.
>>107469349It's not one of the things she said she'd sell/give away, so I'm not as worried. Plus, it's better to have some kind of computer for job hunting anyways
>>107469349I think she's too internet addicted to live without a PC, and selling that one to buy a cheaper one doesn't sound like something really smart.
I rarely post here even though I've been lurking heimin threads since several years, and I can't believe it took over 5 days for me to be mentally stable enough to write something here. I'll be starting my fan-letter soon and I really hope it reaches her in time. Kanatan is the reason why I'm even here today and I want to be able to pay her back until the 27th. It's weird because I'm going through all these emotions but today might be the first day I haven't cried yet; just feeling an indescribable amount of void and emptiness, staring at the ceiling, doomscroolling on twitter and tearing up seeing the jp heimin posts, looking at the mengen thumbnails but not having enough strength to click on any of them especially from this year knowing what she was dealing with behind. I feel horrible. I took her presence for granted and thought she'd always be there. "I won't bother getting tickets to Japan for her next live because she will do another one anyway, right?" "I'll finish this fanart another day because it's not like she will leave" I hate myself for not doing more back then. 5 years pass so fast and yet I never imagined a future without her. Reading your coping posts actually help a bit because knowing taso I really hope she knows we won't get mad at her if she decides to come back (she said it on mengen that she can't be sure about the future). Sorry about the weird rant but I couldn't really find a place to do it except here. I'm stuck in a loop where I'm just deleting and rewriting my jp draft for the fanletter because I don't really know what to say but at the same time I do; but if I really write what I think it wouldn't be fair for her because despite what she says about being able to tank it, I don't want her to feel even more sad and stressed about making us fans sad. She loves us so much and I do so in return, so I really want to be able to write comforting words and yet I still want to be honest about my feelings. I do believe that we are her treasures and kanatan has a really special bond with us heimin.

Alright I ordered 8TB drive for archiving. It should cover at least mengens + hand picked streams just in case. I'll make a torrent for the mengens if no one else will
>>107469434You're not alone anon. I haven't been able to watch anything besides her new streams out of fear that I'll regress and become more depressed. Even remembering some moment from the past feels like another knife to the gut. Regarding the letter, I think you shouldn't worry too much and just write what you honestly feel. She'll read through countless peoples' feelings and she'll have to process it all regardless, but if you don't write what you want to write, you're missing the opportunity to process it yourself. You know Kanata, nothing you write with sincerity can possibly be something she doesn't already know many heimins are feeling.
>>107469406>it's better to have some kind of computer for job hunting anywaysshe can do that with a chromebook
I heard sending 2 letters was a good idea, one for graduation talk and one for Taso talkThat way you'll still support her even if cover redacts your ass for mentioning reincarnation or something

https://x.com/tasozyouhou/status/1998080441354727836Taso didn't get to hear this. This is one reason I don't like the minecraft VC. The proximity setting are shit
I thought I was done processing by today. But I guess it's because it's the 1st collab or the 1st gaming stream since the announcement, I'm sad again. She's put so much effort into improving her interaction/talking, it would suck not to continue to use that. Just like the singing
Tasium
I love her so much but I honestly can't believe her words. She has endured and sacrificed too much to leave and abandon her dreams just because of overwork or any reason she has publicly stated.Management has been incompetent since the beginning, why did she buy a 5090 rig this year if she didnt have the complete resolve to fulfill all her dreams without regrets? I doubt issues relating to overwork could discourage her.I dont think she is lying to us per se, but Im certain she is hiding something from the public. Her being ambiguous to reincarnating in some form but was explicitly sure that she wont sing again in the mengen makes me think that her condition has gotten to a critical state where achieving her dreams became physically impossible for her. but if that's the case then I can't imagine why would she hid that fact instead.I'm grateful she was transparent when she announced her graduation, but not leaving things vague as a reason like difference in direction is seriously making me schizoid. on one hand it seems like she made a dumb decision that is very unlike her, or that she obfuscated the reason she chose to graduate for who knows why
>>107471988She had several months to rehearse how she was going to talk about this, so you can be sure whatever she said is precisely what she intended to say. I don't think she'll talk much about this until the end of the month. Maybe she plans to go more in depth closer to the graduation, maybe it's just too difficult for her to talk about it, or maybe she thinks it's better if she doesn't talk about it. The last option is very much like her, though I don't want to get into why that is. If there's one thing you can usually doubt taso about, is when she says "I'm fine."
>>107471988>like she made a dumb decision that is very unlike herkanata makes many dumb decisions, so it is very like her.
I would be so happy if she lied about the job seeking, no reincarnation parts and had something great planned. Imagine if Oshio got to know beforehand for the new model... it all makes sense now
>>107471988She is right to abandon a horrible workplace that makes her doubt that her dreams are worth following. Taso is dumb but this is her smartest decision to date.
>Hasn't even started job hunting>Doesn't actually have savings >Still in bad shape physicallyI just wonder why she discloses these things. She's well aware it worries people and tends to be really autistic about not having people worry about her. I'd be happier if things ended with a lie of her having something lined up as a normal person and that's it instead of worrying
>>107472673She had her sololive thanks to being in hololive. And she didn't want to leave. She just couldn't continue under these conditions of job+health issues.
>>107472673leaving a job is not really the problem but it feels like she just flipped the table and said "fuck everything"
binbotaso
my schizo theory is that she used her graduation as a last resort negotiation tactic but cover just said ok bye without any back and forth, which she didnt expect.
>>107471988>it seems like she made a dumb decisionyou're not alone because lamy, azki, and polka all tried to stop her the day she dropped the news. it was only until they had lunch together where Kanata convinced them and calms them down, thats probably when she told them what she can't or don't want to publicly say.I think what happened is that she received news from her doctor that her ear disease has started to affect her other ear sometime earlier this year. She either have to gave up singing or end all her activities altogether. She tried doing a lot of game stream this year despite having packed schedule to see whether being a vtuber that doesnt sing could still be enjoyable for her, but it seems that sadly doesnt end up being the case
>>107473174She said they gave her a couple of months to reconsider.
>>107472782The fact that she doesn't want to leave but still does is pretty telling to me. Hololive was so fucking good to her that she considers never working in the entertainment industry ever again and would rather NEET it up or wageslave. To me it sounds like it just fucked her up and usual logical solutions like extended break would not fix anything she has problems with, both in herself and in the company. It's sad that other girls don't want to see her go but at the end of the day they're in the same boat as her and we only see their side of the story. And you know, between "Kanata has actual reasons to leave" and "Kanata is simply dumb and nothing is actually as bad as she says" I'd rather believe Kanata than people who have the same limited info as me but think they know better than Kanata what Kanata needs to do.
>>107473298What I don't get is that everyone would understand if she told that as the reason, so why would she hide it now after being so open about it b4.
The talents are ultimately adult women who make (and invest back) hundreds of thousands, possible million+ dollars a year. As much as they outwardly act on stream or the stories they share, they are much more capable that what a lot of smartass fans think. Only Kanata knows the extent of the circumstances that led to quitting, but I'm one to believe that she wouldn't do it without it being a very extreme one that's she's tried and failed to resolve
>>107473637nta but it's possible that she got really fucked up this year to a point of no return and while she consented to the sequence of events that led to it, the company was also partially at fault for the matter. And then this whole method of delivery for the grad is in part the result of her pushing for change so no other talent has to go through the same thing (by revealing the surface level causes), and also to save face on both sides (noting health issues but not going too deep, and not outright disparaging the company). That would seem like a very Taso thing to do
>>107473637She hide the reason (cant sing anymore) because she wants to gauge how would heimin reacts. If there's a lot of comments that heimins will miss her because of her songs or singing performance, then she had to graduate and never reincarnate because she cant provide that anymore. If instead most of the comments are heimins will miss her for her interaction with other holos, her watchalongs, her gaming streams, etc then she might rescind the graduation or reincarnate and be a vtuber that doesnt sing instead.
>>107473792Leaving the company after being fucked over only makes sense for her if she has other ways to fulfill her dreams. she didnt hide that she's leaving with tons of regrets, over all her work releasing covers, shorts, dilligently studying to be better at streaming and being witty. I can't imagine her being able to throw that all that out the window unless she has no other choices
>>107454380She hates lesbians.
I honestly don't care much about all that right now. I've spent the larger portion of the past few days trying to understand and come to terms with the circumstances that led to this, given what we know. There's still time for her to talk about it. I'll revisit my thoughts when and if she does, and if she doesn't, I don't think my thoughts on it will change much more. Trying to go further just feels like going in circles and it makes me feel more trapped in the sinking feeling that came with the announcement. Even if there's stuff I don't understand, I still want to make the best of what little time is left. Right now I'd rather think positively about the future, even if it's just cope. Just thinking taso will finally have some time to really rest and heal her body comforts me a little.
>>107474290>only makes sense for her if she has other ways to fulfill her dreamsthat's so naive. at some point people realize that it is better to stop dreaming and just go back to real life, because you aren't getting any younger.
>>107473792Turning her graduation announcement into a kind of a public statement is indeed a very Kanata thing. I wish we could one day see the full analysis of "what went wrong" like one of her older self-critique streams.
>>107474290In my hypothetical, the crux of the matter would have been that she got fucked up - as in injured - to an extent where she definitely doesn't think she'll be able to last in holo as it is in the foreseeable future. But also probably has a hard time seeing herself in that physical and mental state to do entertainment (at least any time soon). But I also just think in general that she really needs time to rest because it's really difficult thinking straight when you're suffering physically and mentally like that, even for normal jobs
taso being all social and talkative in the collab felt weird to me today because it felt like "only because nothing matters anymore" kinda deal. Was this really how you could've been this whole time? And now that we look back at it, did it really matter at any point that you were reserved and held back on talking or "bothering" others?
i just need a nakau bot 2 and i'm okdon't leave me
>>107474581she was clearly pushing herself to be overtly genki. she's done that before in larger collabs
>>107474581pekora point that out as well, she pushed herself to be more talkative so that other members doesnt feel they have to walk on eggshells when talking to her
>>107474581I don't know, your post doesn't make much sense to me. She's largely gotten over her crippling fear of large groups. I'm sure it still makes her anxious, and it's definitely not the area where she feels most natural, but the taso who couldn't speak up in collabs has been a thing of the past for a long time now. This collab didn't feel that different from how she usually carries herself, except for the fact that they had to walk around (or sometimes directly into) the elephant in the room all of the time.
>>107473298>to see whether being a vtuber that doesnt sing could still be enjoyable for herbut she put out a tonne of music this year, including a full albumthis just doesn't compute
>>107474844The point is that if her meniere's really has gotten worse, it would mean she's on her last legs as a singer. One of her ears is essentially deaf already. The most likely thing she could mean by the Meniere's getting worst is that the other ear is starting to be affected too.
>>107474844putting out music takes a long time anon. all the songs in her album this year have to be done by at least months before release, she probably started working on those from last year. She also said that all her songs and covers she made this year, both released and soon to be released, are made before she decided to graduate. According to these timeline, she probably received the news from her doctor sometime April - June
>>107475205She's definitely not telling the entire truth for the latter. The best friend remix of Monitoring was originally released in September this year. It has different lyrics, too, so both the animation, instrumental/mixing, and vocals would have all needed to be done after. I think she's just doesn't want people reading into the meaning of the song too much because she's embarassed, but she's definitely been putting time and money into this till the very end
I try to enjoy the time we have left but I end up spiraling back to existential dread every time I pull myself together. This month is agony and only gets worse the closer we get...
>>107474906>Meniere's getting worst is that the other ear is starting to be affected tooWouldnt that mean she's going to be deaf then?Maybe thats why she chose not to disclose it.Saying you're going to be deaf but you still want to release covers and song + a graduation live would just invite endless worries from heimins

I wonder how much the topic of reincarnation was influenced by the fake nzm twitter. It's been around ever since she deleted the real one and has been tricking fans for a while now. Apparently they hinted at reincarnation when the tweet for the stream dropped and then quickly nuked their account when the topic came up
>>107478049butt out taso
I love taso, that is all. My brain and heart are exhausted. I just want to imagine a happy future for taso and blindly believe in it.
People can call me stupid and selfish, it's fine. But I really, really really want Kanatan to stream more for us heimin instead of doing the collab. The girls technically can stay in touch with her even after the graduation, and while I would like to see some 1v1 collabs, I really hope she does either more mengen or just zatsudan sorting her feelings out... or no need to, even, just talking about everything and nothing. I miss her so much. I'm in the middle of writing the fan letter and had to take a break, and yet everything in my life revolves around her to such an alarming point I don't know what to do after she's gone. Please don't go, Kanata, I'm begging you. I miss her so much already, I wish she could have streamed regularly today instead of doing a huge collab where it even pained me to see her this overly unlike herself as if she doesn't even care anymore. I'm sorry if this comes off as negative but I'm not in my brightest mood right now.
>>107479446We hate collabs here
>>107479514I only hate the collabs that never happened.
>>107479446Big events like this where you don't even have to plan with others to talk to them is something she'll likely never experience again, so I understand why she wants to take part in it. I do hope for more solo adventuring too since she's booked with collabs already.
>>107479514I like collabs, I just don't like them when they are forced like this one. (At least I feel it like that)
>>107473365So, the day of the MGS3 stream where she sobbed must've been the point of not return I guess.
>>107481805That was 2 months agoShe said it was 6 months ago (she said to not look into anything weird she did back then)
>>107482037check to what was I responding
>>107481725Even if it's to make herself not look sad to others, the people in the event are those who she is comfortable with being more chatty to. I agree that she's trying to not make the other be sad, but I wouldn't say she has to strain herself to do so.
>>107482620I think she just prefers having the environment be as cheerful as possible instead of letting herself become the center of a gloom fest. I can sympathize. There really isn't any way to just have a naturally happy and casual environment given the circumstances.
Something about this graduation feels uniquely horrible and I'm not just saying that as a heimin. I'm not going to say it's the, 'end of an era,' because the golden age has been dead for years, but it does feel like this has permanently marred hololive's reputation, even if others haven't quite picked up on it yet. I can't even totally articulate why exactly, it just feels like a subtle but vital part of what made up of hololive's beating heart has been permanently torn away. Maybe I'm just biased because it's taso but I didn't feel this way even when Aqua left. I don't know at this point, I'm just rambling.
>>107483950I'd say I feel the same, but I've felt this way about hololive for a long time already. For what's worth, I've seen a fair number of non-heimin share your opinion to some degree, that this graduation feels particularly bad. On the other hand though, it's easy for people who don't feel as affected by this to write it off as something that's more of a Kanata problem with no bearing on hololive as a whole because of her known health issues. More so than any talent who's graduated before, she was known to have a serious condition that could lead to her graduation one day.
Personally I'm ok with a big collab like this because it might give taso a bit of a break from thinking so much about the graduation, and instead she can focus on simply enjoying the time she has left with her precious friends and try to be happy, if only for a little bitI've also always enjoyed seeing her interactions with other holomem a lot, and the Su/Kanata friendship was one that I was kind of looking forward to, so getting a little of that is... bittersweet I guess, but it is something
>>107484686Perhaps true, but isn't that all the more reason management should have been particularly sensitive to her condition and workload?>>107483950>it does feel like this has permanently marred hololive's reputationIt's Kanata, Gura, Haachama... it's death by a thousand cuts.
>>107483950It's because she's so weak and tries and struggles so hard. It's because she's part of the heart and soul. Not the face or the arms but she's at the heart. IDK Losing Aqua and Shion were like having your face scarred, Kanata is like having your heart injured. That's the best way I can put it.
>>107484686You may be right. With taso being around and steadily coming into her own these past few years despite all her trials, I think maybe I was insulated from the decline of hololive as a whole. She was so isolated from the others I may have been deluding myself into thinking it wasn't so bad. With that being said, I'm probably done with hololive as a whole outside of the odd Korone stream (god I'd kill for one more KanaKoro collab, this is such shut timing), maybe even vtubing as a whole with how twitch adjacent it's become. Fuck I'm gonna miss her... I really hope she'll at least be able to rest well and live a happy, stable life if we can't ever see her again.>>107485113Yeah, although it's more like death by a thousand gouges. Those cuts run deep.>>107485270Yeah, that's what I mean. Something about that spirit of raw perseverance in the face of absolute adversity. I don't want to diminish the other girls' efforts, but seeing someone like Kanata claw and scrape her way to where she got only to have her finally buckle from the weight of it all is... it's just heartbreaking.
>>107483950>>107485270This. It's hard to describe well, but people who know her story about illness and social anxiety see her struggle to improve herself and root for her. She's now a pretty reliable tsukkomi and a great singer in holo and that "growth content" is very much the essence of an "idol". People rally around that and empathize with that. Everyone knew there was a (potential) timer given her health, but the immense frustration and dissatisfaction is that out of the 3 reasons she listed, 2 were of mismanagement. She already had a shorter time than the others, so it feels unjust that incompetence cut that short. In contrast, other talents leaving usually implied they wanted to do different things than what holo was offering
I'll put it this way. Maybe you could interpret graduations through musical feeling. Coco's graduation was characterized by Weather Hackers and Kiseki Musubi.Just for instance if Rushia's could be characterized I'd use a death metal breakdown.Kanata's graduation right now feels like it'd be characterized by a doomer vocaloid song.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLvEiuz3-Sk
>>107486415>Kanata's graduation right now feels like it'd be characterized by a doomer vocaloid song.I hate to say it, but other than an orthodox idol song, I can't think of a more appropriate genre to send off taso.
>taso graduates>rests a while, her health stabilizes>starts wage slaving>takes vocaloid music production as a personal hobby>eventually decides to do laid back streams of her hobby and release her musicIs a compromise between blackpill and copium I could see happening. Of course, that's just one card in my copium deck.

>>107496002もったいないI can think of sixty better things that Taso could've done with her time than this. Not to hate on Peko or anything but minecraft collab is not high on my list when it comes to seeing last Taso interactions
>>107496394It's the only way we can get KanaSuba since I'm not sure if Subaru will even get a collab with Kanata. It's also a good thing to add into my cope list: she'll want to be able to play modded games on stream after having fun with this.
>>107496394It's very on brand that you can't stop complaining about Kanata's choice of streams and collabs up until the very end.
>>107496394There's kanapoluna zatsu tomorrow and robocop/azki/luna on Thursday
>>107496711(me)Roboco.. sorry, autocorrect lol
>>107496723But i wanted robocop collab, the game looks fun
I really wanted taso to stream individually at least today I can't bear this anymore There is less than 18 days left and knowing how she might not ever talk to us ever again breaks me, I wish she could be more vulnerable with us like that last mengen since it's the last time anyway god I really miss Kanatan already
>>107497196probably gonna wait for friday to have solo streams
>day counter + stream counterWe already know seeing TWO things in one day is like seeing a shiny in her channel so that's probably because she'll skip some days
Erotic
I have never ever tried to actively watch anyone other than Kanatan, and I understand how irreplaceable she is. I'll probably try to cope by rewatching her archives, but I wanted to ask heimins here if you guys know any JP-v that I would like to watch considering how Kanatan was actually perfect for me. Someone socially awkward, who likes to stream alone, good at tsukkomi, funny, and also an idol or just an otaku in general barely leaving her house. It might be too specific but yeah.
>>107497360I don't watch others so I'll just hope Kanata reincarnates.
>>107497360>>107497380I've tried others but no one's ever "clicked" in the way Kanata did so same, gonna hope and cope that she reconsiders steaming after grad.

I can hear Minecraft in my heart
>>107445111>choose reincarnation once she's well rested and recovered. If that's what it takes, it's fine. From everything she said, the current situation cannot continue.>>107451780I just hope she can get a remotely as good design if she ever returns. The current design is and has always been fire.>>107461713One can wish, but she already said there will be no guests at the graduation live.
>>107497196I don't care about minecraft either but she will definitely mengen AT LEAST one more time, hopefully a couple. I want to let it all out the night before graduation
>>107486415For me, Kataha is the one that keeps playing in my mind. Alongside Oracle and Cupid, but this one is certainly the most aligned with my feelings right now.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2K1H9D0DZ8

Goriliver to kanaluna. Ok, this is really nice
okataso is a mystery
Taso really forced that laugh there
looking forward to it
I guess it's because they're both more into making solo content, but we never got enough kanaluna. I like this combination so much.
RIP

GO TASO

Just came back from the postal office, hope my letter reaches her in time. It's weird because I feel a bit empty but accomplished at the same time. My regret is that I always downplayed my japanese and was too afraid to send her things, thinking that I should wait until I could write kanjis better etc. But yeah, I expected myself to cry but instead I just feel a kind of void while walking home. I wonder if she will read it, even. I hope she does. It might save me a bit.
nice one taso

peaceful taming amidst the chaos
so they were just missing a few more blocks
>>107500825It doesn't seem to be able to get down though.
>>107500457I relate to this a lot, I never left any messages on memberships because I was ashamed that I hadn't gotten better yet and figured that sending a proper message would be my 'reward' once I got to my desired levelI ended up sending my own letter in English, which I figured is better than nothing

taso with the deathflag
uh, since when does she have a clock in the corner of her screen?
trust the taso
>>107501308New layout. She normally doesn't have a custom chat like that either
Man, I see a bunch of heimin begging her to revert the graduation and I think that's stupid on several levels, but every now and then this feeling wells up inside of just wanting to cling to the hope of some miracle and no amount of rationality can shake it off...
That's me on Kanata's bed.
>>107501447i understand their feelings but the begging is just disrespectful towards taso at this point. not reincarnating is just retarded thohowever COVER needs to naked dogeza and beg her to stay instead.
>>107501447If you love something you let it go
>>107501447There's nothing stopping her from reincarnating expect her own expectations
>>107501601That's why I'll never actually ask for her to stay or anything like that. The most I'll say is that if she ever feels like coming back, she'll always be welcome. But letting go still involves a lot of coping, and sometimes indulging in delusions is necessary if only to prevent myself from breaking.
damn that last comment...
>>107501447i don't know if i'll ever get over it if she really just disappears and we never hear anything except when she gets mentioned by one of her friendslike what the fuck are you even thinking
>Implying it normally isn't like that
taso pls...
Today was really nice. Having the smaller groups and switching groups is a great idea
today was very nice.got some nice alone time with gorireba and kanaluna and the group adventures were fun too.taso was clearly more comfortable than yesterday.
>>107501841Yesterday was an ice breaker, probably like Pekora said she didn't want to dampen the mood with elephant in the room so addressed it immediately with humor. Today was just pure teetee, which seems to be what we and she all needed.
Pekora has a collab tomorrow, so the server is gonna be closed. It's actually good timing since taso would've missed out on the first trip to the Nether otherwise.
>>107501826>>107501841truly a happy time
>>107501662I'm sure she's thought about it for countless hours and reconsidered many times before she made her decision.Hololive has practically given her the chance to begin again and change her fortunes, to achieve her dream of becoming a real idol.Having to write and submit her letter of resignation and announcing it, having to organize her own graduation, the fact that she will have to look for a new employment -- those are not the hard part for her.As with us, it's letting go.
>>107502557I'm fine with Kanata going away if it's for the best. I don't know if her depression has gotten better (probably not) and that's what scared me the most. I care about her as a person beyond of being an entertainer. It's fine if she never does any activities again, but god, even just a small account under another name and tweeting about daily things to keep us updated that she's there. I'm very scared, because it seems like a first case in vtubing where someone would just completely disappear after. I'm very scared that if she's alone with dark thoughts something might happen, and it breaks me to know that if something happens to her we might never know. That's the part that scares me the most. I'm ready to let Amane Kanata go, but I really do wish the person beneath that stays healthy and gives us some life update once a while, even through holomen.
It hurts because she genuinely likes streaming. This year was pretty much completely missing the "daily life" she was talking about at the end today after around March. I genuinely wonder how much that affected her final push for the decision.
>>107502823Yep. More generally, it hurts because I have no doubts that she's leaving with regrets. Even she's made up her mind, and even if I can agree with her choice, there's no way she's still not second guessing herself inside. It will always feel more like a desperation move than anything else.
the kanata/roboco/azki/luna collab is going to be momotaro dentetsu
>>107503146I don't doubt it because she all but says it outright. She has things she still wants to do but now it's too late. That's regret. I'm choosing not to question her decision on the grad. We don't know all the information and from all I've observed about her personality, I don't believe she's the type that would make this decision lightly. What I do feel is that she's still wavering about what comes after, just based on her words this past week
https://www.youtube.com/live/j887Cikcpgo kanapoluna frame ageru
>>107503608>she all but says it outrightShe've said it outright multiple timesShe was ambigous when it comes to reincarnation, but she was pretty clear she wont be doing anymore singing which is the content of her regrets.
Archiving info before the thread dies. Some statistics:Kanata has 1451 streams of which 189 are mengen. There are also 275 videos. The rest are obviously shorts. 20TB should be able to archive all of it if anyone has that much space (I don't)
The way this is happening definitely makes it harder to accept, but conversely, it also makes it easier to have hope to see her again someday. After all, we know she's not leaving because she wanted to part with this way of life.
>>107504640My brain has fully settled into the cope that I'll see her again one day. I just hope she'll be happy with her future path, that's the worrisome part. But on the other hand, this opens up time for hobbies.
We all love you so much Kanataso!!!!!!
just deep and immeasurable pain
My recap doesn't show taso as #1 because she didn't stream at all...
>>107505510Honestly that hurts super much because she couldn't be active at all this year due to several projects (her album, her solo live) and her multiple health issues (her stone...) + all the things that happened in cover. Yes, Kanatan will be quitting us by the end of this month but the last time she streamed really actively was around when Sakamata quit. I don't know if Sakamata quit changed something inside Kanatan but if you look at her streaming schedule, it only went downhill from there.
