Normally, even if a talent takes a break, a hiatus of up to about one year is considered typical. But ANYCOLOR allowed four years.I feel that her (Amemori Sayo’s) situation before going on hiatus was very similar to Haachama’s. She said that she broke down crying in front of her manager, and the manager canceled all her scheduled plans and let her take a休養. And the fact that she was able to remain in the agency despite not being active at all for four years is something I think other agencies would never allow.This is both a reason why the company is criticized for “having too many talents” and also one of the advantages of that system. Even if several talents take休養 or have to withdraw from events, there are always others who can fill the gaps, which helps distribute the workload.If Haachama were able to come back after several years of休養, that would be something worthy of praise—but it’s probably impossible.
