Baker here, I usually just lurk around, but I have nobody to take this off my chest with.

As an anon struggling with Meniere disease myself, Kanataso's existence is the only thing that kept me going. Although I oshi'd her before I found out that she has the same condition, it made me appreciate her even more, because I could relate to her.

I won't lie, symptoms can get overwhelming and life quality is awful, as I've also lost pretty much all hearing in one ear already (I'm roughly around the same age as her). Despite that, she's always been a motivation for me to not give up yet.

Idk what I'm going to do once she's gone, I'm in a very dark place right now.

The video formats your tool seems to be using is webm vp9 video and webm opus audio. For example her first stream wieghts only 720 MB for you, instead of 1.87 GB with mp4 avc1.64002A high bitrate and m4a mp4a.40.2 audio.
Weight ratio for this video : 2.67 higher.

Youtube takes the better one when watching a stream, so long as the connectino permits.

I was also thinking of "saving" member archived streams.

Personally for me the worst interpretation is Cover wanted her out because her "aesthetics" or ideals is too strict for them or their vision (difference in direction ironically).
It's no secret that Cover has tried times and times again to appeal to wider audiences with HLZNTL, NijiHolo projects, Twitch, etc which directly works against Kanata's brand of ideals.
Kanata herself alluded to the possibility of this sentiment in her mengen, saying that she feels she's very hard to work with and even considered modifying her "ideals" a few years ago. I'm not blaming her for considering that though since having too strict of an ideal means that you're competing to even a smaller pool of experienced/knowledgeable managers that now she ends up with someone that does 3 holos.
The "best" interpretation assumes that Kanata did hide her worsening ear condition and Cover knows that rather than have her be eventually deaf its wiser to let her end her activites now if she wishes to. They tried to suggest her to reduce her activities to something more sustainable after she had her consultation with the doctor, but she rather not to since her time on stage is limited anyway.
